THE KICKING CONTEST

An MFCA contest representative will administer the contest and will be the final authority on made field goals.

Each MFCA coach must attempt the kicks from the following yard markers twice (total of 10 kicks) each with the associated points for each kick. A perfect score is 300: (note: distances are based on 5mm = 1 foot)

10 yard line: 10 points
15 yard line: 20 points
20 yard line: 30 points
25 yard line: 40 points
30 yard line: 50 points

The kicker must be placed behind the yard marker for each of the distance kicks listed above. An MFCA field goal will be placed at the back of the end zone.

The winners of the contest will be determined by adding the total number of points accumulated.

Tiebreaker: The tied coaches will kick from the 35 and continue moving back to each yard line till one coach misses. The winning coach will receive the official MFCA gold medal. If tied after kicking from the 63 yard line, the kicking contest will be declared a tie and a second medal will be issued.
