2016 Electric Football World Championships, TOC Finals and Convention

The MFCA and Tudor Games are excited to announce the 2016 Electric Football™ World Championships (EFWC)!

Start booking your room NOW for what is sure to be one of the biggest Electric Football events ever! There will be games for all levels of play from youth to master, including the MFCA Tournament of Champions Qualifier and Finals! Tudor Games will have their store up and running for all your product needs! There will be the usual gang of tweakers, painters and collectors roaming the hotel. Throw in the Washington Redskins training camp in town and you have one incredible football weekend!

The 2016 EFWC will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton, Richmond Airport, July 29-31!
The Four Points by Sheraton is located at the airport and includes free shuttle service, swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center and wireless internet.

FREE Competitors Lunch for pre-registered coaches at the 2016 Electric Football World Championships! On Saturday, the MFCA provides a free buffet lunch for any coach pre-registered for the tournament!
You MUST be pre-registered online by July 20 to take part in this lunch! If you wait and want the lunch, you must buy the lunch on Friday and the cost will be $20 at the door! We will not sell lunch tickets on Saturday.

3 Pool Rounds. 40 coach estimate-10 pools-3 games per coach (timed 25 min halves-no TO’s) If record at end of pool is tied the winner is: 1) head to head 2) total points scored 3) least points scored against.

EFWCC/TOC Tournament Divisions

ELECTRIC FOOTBALL™ KIDS OLYMPIC STYLE TOURNAMENT-Free to 12 and under
This tournament is designed for children 12 and under. Any player/base combination that does not exceed 3.4 grams is allowed. Two-sided tape is allowed to secure the players to the platform. No other weight may be added. This competition will give young coaches the opportunity to enjoy the game of Electric Football in a balanced environment with an emphasis on learning the game. They will run 2 running plays, 2 passing plays (1 stick and 1 TTQB), a kickoff, field goal competition, passing competition, fastest man, route running and strongest man. Admission is free! There will also be instructors available to aid “walk-in coaches” who want to jump right in.

ELECTRIC FOOTBALL™ NOVICE TOURNAMENT-$10 adults $5 MFCA Members and youth 12 and under
This competition is designed for the new adult players or younger players who feel that their skill-set has grown to the point that they want to compete on their own with a focus on expanding their game. Any player/base combination that does not exceed 3.4 grams is allowed. Two-sided tape is allowed to secure the players to the platform. No other weight may be added. Games are played on Tudor Games fields. Here, you will play against coaches who are either just learning the game, returning to the hobby, or even coaches that decide to buy some players at the Tudor Store and line them up. Who knows, you may be a “Natural!”

ELECTRIC FOOTBALL™ PRO-AM TOURNAMENT-$10 adults $5 MFCA Members and youth 11-12*
*Youth 11-12 years of age, prior to the competition, must prove a proficiency with the rules, can coach without parental assistance and be able to exhibit good sportsmanship.
This tournament is ideal for league, solitaire, and hobbyist who aspire to play in a balanced competition with fellow enthusiasts. The competition will be stiff but equal. Any player/base combination that does not exceed 3.4 grams. Weight in the form of lead tape or tacky putty may be added (see rules). Games are played on 2×4 fields. The rules are constructed to also aid coaches who still need to work on their games before jumping in with the Big Fish. The Pro-Am is the perfect place for coaches to find both a comfort zone and stiff competition. Where you go from here is up to you!

ELECTRIC FOOTBALL™ GREEN ROOM RUMBLE TOURNAMENT-$10 adults $5 MFCA Members and youth*
*You must be proficient with the TOC rules to compete in this event. Games are self-officiated.
This competition is designed for coaches with tournament experience and will be played on 2×4 fields using the full TOC Rules and will begin at the completion of the TOC pool play. Any player/base combination that does not exceed 4.0 grams is allowed. Weight in the form of lead tape or tacky putty may be added (see rules). It is a single elimination bracket tournament and you must be pre-registered as this is a first come, first serve tournament.

EFWC FINALS – SUNDAY
The final 2 from the Novice, Pro-Am and Green Room Rumble meet to decide who is the Electric Football World Champion in their class!

MFCA TOC QUALIFIER TOURNAMENT – SATURDAY-$20 and must be a MFCA Member
TOC Qualifying Tournament for the national finals on Sunday. This event is the last TOC qualifier before the National TOC Championships on Sunday. This event is open to anyone wanting to play at the highest level of electric football. Saturdays winner plus 3 others with the highest TOC point totals from the year move on to face the champions from the Texas Twister, Warriors TOC, Capitol City Clash and the Bama Blast in the Final 8 on Sunday. MFCA TOC CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – SUNDAY
The final 8 meet to decide who gets the MFCA TOC National Champion Ring!

PAINT/CUSTOMIZING COMPETITION

Anything goes on these as long as they conform to human form and body proportion. All figures should be displayed on a base.

SKILLS COMPETITION
